The job was to portray the industrial yet aesthetic nature of a large catering kitchen for a company magazine, without loosing the beauty of food photography. Commercial Work.

It was eerily quiet while the event was in full swing and the team knew perfectly what to do like a well orchestrated ballet of working professionals. My job was not to stand in the way.

There is something strange about creating an artwork, but doing it so a hundert times perfectly for every guest of the event with all their special needs and wishes. The images try to replicate that aesthetics.

Foof photography usually focuses on making it perfect, individual with decorative elements. This was not the aim of this shoot, the repetative nature of a catering kitchen was not only unavoidable, but actually the subject.
